Still trying to make the basic controls and mechanics feel good. Please leave any feedback in the comments. What did you like, if anything? What did you hate? What struck you as odd?

Controls:

  • WASD to move
  • Tab to change target, will autoattack if close enough
  • T to toggle chasing currently targeted enemy
  • Shift to use hookshot

Moves:

  • 1 - Basic strong attack
  • 2 - Dash attack to put you behind enemy. Does extra damage if used after 1.
  • 3 - Hide to lose aggro of enemy and do extra damage on first attack out of Hide.
  • 4 - Ultimate attack. Can only be used from behind enemy.

I liked the sound effects.

But the screen shaking and screen flashing white is distracting. I think you should only use them sparingly (for major plot events) instead of too often. 

The controls are weird. Usually in games like this, arrow keys are used to move. But in this case, tab + shift to move around is weird. 

The hookshot feelsreally fun to use. I like stealthing and then going behind the enemy to use the backstab.
